According to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Gunners have been informed of Edinson Cavani's availability from next season.

The Uruguayan has been linked with Arsenal before, and there has been reported interest in the forward from other Premier League clubs, such as Manchester United and Chelsea, while Liverpool are also said to be keen on luring the two-time Ligue 1 champion to Anfield.

The report claimed the French giants would be willing to let Cavani leave the club in the summer; however, a player of his calibre is unlikely to move cheaply.

Cavani, as per reliable statistics site Transfermarkt, is valued at £29 million (R500 million), although PSG could demand a much higher transfer fee.

The 28-year-old has scored 69 times in 119 matches for PSG, lifting seven trophies along the way.
