However, former teen sensation Martin Odegaard has now joined SC Heerenveen on an 18-month loan deal, as confirmed by the club during his presentation on Tuesday morning

The 18-year-old was considered to be one of Europe's brightest talents and joined Real as a 16-year-old, but has since struggled to break into the first team.
As a consequence, the Norway international was sent out on loan by in order for him to get regular game time and develop further.

Odegaard has made only two first team appearances for Real, but has represented the club's Castilla side 62 times, scoring five goals and assisting another eight strikes.
