The 2015 African Footballer of the Year has apparently handed in a transfer request at Borussia Dortmund, according to German publication Bild.

New reports by Yahoo Sport suggest that the 27-year-old will join Paris Saint-Germain, after the French giants agreed to a €70 million (R1 billion) transfer fee with BVB.

PSG are yet to agree personal terms with Aubameyang but have reportedly tabled a contract offer including a €10 million (R146 million) annual salary, plus another €6 million (R88 million) in bonus payments.

The Gabon striker finished the 2016/17 Bundesliga campaign as its top goalscorer, netting 31 goals in 32 appearances. Overall, the African has scored 120 goals in 189 appearances for Dortmund since joining from Saint-Etienne for €13 million (R190 million) in 2013.

Aubameyang has also been linked with Los Blancos, and even publicly expressed his desire to play for the Spanish giants, but it seems Zinedine Zidane preferred other targets, while City were reportedly also after his signature.
