Reports emerging from England claim that Bayern Munich are looking to strike a deal for one of Manchester United's defenders.
Pep Reveals His Next Destination
Metro has claimed that incoming Bayern Munich manager, Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping to lure his fellow Italian, Matteo Darmian, to join him at the club when he takes over from Pep Guardiola in the summer.
Darmian, who only arrived at United in the summer is said to be unhappy with life in England after joining from Torino. Reports claim that Ancelotti has made the right-back one of his top targets with the view to reinforce the star studded Bayern team.
The 26-year-old will have to compete with established players such as David Alaba, Juan Bernat, Philipp Lahm and Rafinha if he is to get any first team action. But as a utility player, it is understandable why Ancelotti will consider him a useful addition to his squad.
Van Gaal Still Under Pressure?
Matteo Darmian has made 22 appearances for Manchester United in all competitions so far this season.
