Defender Pepe, whose contract with Real expires at the end of the season, has reportedly received a €15 million (R217 million) offer from Hebei China Fortune, according to AS.
The 33-year-old is yet to sign a new deal at the Santiago Bernabeu, and is reportedly seriously considering the offer from China.
Manuel Pellegrini's side are apparently prepared to triple Pepe's current deal at Real, but the Spanish giants have also offered him an extension.
However, Pepe is hesitant to sign Los Blancos' new deal because the club has apparently only offered a one-year extension, while the defender is holding out for a two-year deal.
Pellegrini, who previously coached the defender at Real between 2009 and 2010, seems ready to take advantage of the contract stalemate, and wants to make Pepe the next big name to head to China.
