Ten-man Egypt struck late in the second half to secure a point away to Gabon on Sunday evening.

Mohamed Salah was back in the Pharaohs line-up after missing the win over Angola while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continued in the attack for the hosts.

After a scoreless first half, the Panthers took the lead with 17 minutes left of the second stanza through Jim Allevinah's finish just two minutes before the visitors had Omar Gaber sent off.

However, the Egyptians managed to secure a share of the spoils thanks to Mostafa Mohamed's 90th minute strike.

Rwanda 1-1 Kenya

Rwanda picked up their first point in the qualifiers following a 1-1 draw with Kenya on home soil.

It was the visitors who broke the deadlock after just nine minutes courtesy of a goal from Michael Olunga.

The home side were not behind for too long as Abdul Rwatubyaye found the back of the net in the 20th minute.

Neither side were able to find a winning goal, as both nations remain without a win after two matches in Group E.
