FIFA have announced the Player of the Tournament after Cristiano Ronaldo scored Real Madrid to their second consecutive Club World Cup title.

Los Blancos beat Copa Libertadores champions Gremio 1-0 in the final thanks to a direct free-kick by Ronaldo.
The Spanish giants became the first side to lift consecutive Club World Cup titles after winning the trophy last year already.
Despite finishing the tournament as joint-top goalscorer, Ronaldo wasn't able to defend his Player of the Tournament title, but finished in second spot.
His teammate Luka Modric was named 2017 FIFA Club World Cup Player of the Tournament, while Ronaldo received the silver ball.
Meanwhile, Pachuca's Jonathan Urretaviscaya finished in third place.

Real Madrid had more reason to celebrate as they also picked up the Fair Play award of the tournament.
