Arsenal cruised into the fourth round of the FA Cup after thrashing League One outfit Blackpool 3-0 at Bloomfield Road on Saturday night.
The Gunners took control from the onset and found the opening goal after 10 minutes, with Joe Willock firing home from close range after Aaron Ramsey's initial effort was blocked.
Blackpool grew in confidence as the as the half went on, although clear-cut chances were hard to come by for the home side as Petr Cech was largely untested after 30 minutes.
However, it was Arsenal who got the second goal as Willock completed his brace tapping home at the far post after some good work by Alex Iwobi and Carl Jenkinson in the build up.
Blackpool nearly found themselves three goals down before the break, but Mark Howard came to the rescue with a big save to deny Eddie Nketiah from close range.
The hosts squandered a great chance to reduce the deficit 10 minutes into the second half when Michael Nottingham was played through on goal, only for the winger to blast over the crossbar.
Unai Emery made his first change after 64 minuted as Nketiah made way for Alexandre Lacazette as the visitors looked to put the game out of Blackpool's reach.
The result was eventually sealed for the Gunners in the 82nd minute when Iwobi had the easy task of slotting into an empty net after Ramsey's strike was saved.
Blackpool, meanwhile, were unable to mount any attempts at Cech's goal in the remaining stages of the half as the Gunners ran out comfortable 3-0 winners on the night.
