Manchester United secured their spot in the semi-finals of the FA Cup after goals from Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic secured a 2-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion.
Anthony Martial and Juan Mata returned to the United line up, while Paul Pogba, Alexis Sanchez and Marcus Rashford dropped to the bench.
Lukaku, who has been in good form lately, could have put the hosts ahead in the opening minutes but fired wide from close range following a cross from Antonio Valencia.
Brighton nearly took the lead on 31 minutes but goalkeeper Sergio Romero was well placed to keep out Lewis Dunk's header.
United eventually took the lead in the 37th minute when Lukaku headed home Nemanja Matic's cross at the far post.
The Red Devils pushed for a second goal for the rest of the half, but they were unable to bypass the visitors' defence again before the break.
Jürgen Locadia nearly restored parity on 55 minutes but his powerful volley was palmed away by Romero.
With United struggling to break down Brighton, Jose Mourinho introduced Rashford for Juan Mata on 74 minutes.
The Red Devils eventually doubled their lead on 84 minutes when Ashley Young's free-kick was nodded home by Matic.
In the end, 2-0 was the how the encounter finish as United secured their spot in the final four of the competition.
