The draw featured the 12 group stage winners and runners-up, plus eight teams from the UEFA Champions League after they finished third in their groups.
United will lock honrs with Brugge in a clash, which will be much-anticpated by South African football fans, while last year's runners-up Arsenal will meet Greek side Olympiacos.
