Tottenham Hotspur began their UEFA Europa League group stage campaign with a 3-0 triumph over LASK in Group J on Thursday evening.
Spurs manager Jose Mourinho handed Gareth Bale his first start since his return from Real Madrid along with off-season signing Carlos Vinícius, while Joe Hart was given a start between the sticks.
The hosts got off to a flying start after Lucas Moura opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a low strike from after getting on the end of a clever through ball by Vinicius.
The Lilywhites had the momentum going forward after that and they found the second goal just before the half-hour mark after Andres Andrade sweeped Bale's cross into his own net.
After a slow start, Andreas Gruber came close to pulling a goal back for LASK on the stroke of half-time with a curling shot from the edge of the box but Hart made a great save.
With Spurs were absorbing the pressure and playing on the break in the early stages of the second stanza, Mourinho made a triple change on the hour-mark, bringing on Son in place of Bale, Moussa Sissoko on for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Dele Alli on for Erik Lamela.
Alli had a good chance to put the game to bed in the last quarter of an hour after going through inside the box but his shot was half saved by shot-stopper Alexander Schlager, who pushed his effort towards the goal-line.
Son eventually made it 3-0 for Spurs in the last six minutes with a left-footed strike past Schlager after a cushioned header by Vinicius sent him through on goal.
