UEFA Europa League: Leicester City's Knockout Stage Hopes Dented

Leicester City's chances of qualifying for Europa League knockout phase suffered a blow after being held to a 1-1 draw by Spartak Moscow.

Former Chelsea star Victor Moses opened the scoring for the visitors on 58 minutes, before Daniel Amartey levelled matters seven minutes later.

Leicester had a chance to win the clash from the penalty spot in the 75th minute, but Jamie Vardy was unable to convert as the Foxes remain third in Group C.

Napoli made it back-to-back wins in Group C after thrashing Legia Warsaw 4-1 in Warsaw on Thursday evening.

Warsaw did give the visitors a surprise when Mahir Emreli opened the scoring on 10 minutes.

Napoli hit back in the second half with four goals, as Piotr Zielinski, Dries Mertens, Hirving Lozano and Adam Ounas finding the back of the net.

West Ham United maintained their unbeaten start to group stages after drawing 2-2 with KRC Genk.

Genk got their goals through Joseph Paintsil and a Tomas Soucek own goal, while Algerian attacker Saïd Benrahma netted a brace for David Moyes' side.

Rangers' hopes of progressing to the knockout round took another knock after drawing 1-1 with Brondby.

The hosts broke the deadlock on the stroke of halftime courtesy of an own goal from Leon Balogun.

Steven Gerrard's men got the equaliser with 13 minutes left on the clock, with Ianis Hagi getting his name on the scoresheet.

Fenerbahce got their first win in Group D after thrashing Royal Antwerp 3-0 on Thursday evening.

Mert Yandas, Max Meyer and Mergim Berisha managed to get all three goals for the Turkish side in the first half.

Lazio and Marseille remain in second and third respectively after playing to a 2-2 draw at the Orange Vélodrome.

Felipe Anderson and Ciro Immobile put the visitors 2-1 ahead after Arkadiusz Milik got the early opener for Marseille.

However, Dimitri Payet had the final say after netting the equaliser for the hosts with eight minutes left on the clock.
