African Star Matches Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski's Record

Morocco international Youssef El-Arabi has matched a feat that Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski have also achieved after scoring against Arsenal.

Olympiacos were dumped out of the UEFA Europa League by the Gunners on Thursday despite winning the second leg 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium.

While the Greeks were unable to match last season's result, El-Arabi did manage to get on the scoresheet once again against the North London outfit.

In doing so, the Moroccan striker has become the fourth player to score in three consecutive encounters against the Gunners after Messi, Lewandowski and Arjen Robben.

Arsenal will now turn their attention to Slavia Praha, who eliminated their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night.
