Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho may be two of the biggest managerial rivals, but they have now won exactly the same number of trophies. However, five other managers have picked up more silverware – here are the 11 most successful coaches in Europe.

The Spaniard's side beat Chelsea 4-3 on penalties in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, successfully defending their title in the competition.
It was Guardiola's fourth trophy since taking charge of City in 2016, adding on to his Premier League, FA Community Shield and League Cup medals.
Overall, the 48-year-old has now claimed 25 pieces of silverware in his managerial career, the same as Mourinho.
Guardiola won 14 trophies during his time at FC Barcelona, seven with Bayern Munich and now four with City. This means the Citizens boss averages more than two titles per season in 11 years of senior management.
However, five coaches in European history have collected more trophies than Guardiola and Mourinho, namely: Jock Stein, Ottmar Hitzfeld, Valeriy Lobanovskyi, Mircea Lucescu and Sir Alex Ferguson.
The legendary Scotsman leads the ranking with 48 titles in his stints with Aberdeen and Manchester United, making him the most successful manager in European football history.

Guardiola, though, could still add three more titles to his personal cabinet in 2018/19, with his team still chasing the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League titles.
