The Gabon international netted a brace in Arsenal's comfortable 4-0 win over Norwich City this week.
His first strike saw him better a record once held by Henry, with Aubameyang reaching 50 Premier League goals for the Gunners in 79 games.
Henry needed four games more to score his first 50 strikes for Arsenal.
The Frenchman reached 50 goals in the English top flight after 83 games, while club legend Ian Wright was the third quickest with 87 appearances.
Overall, though, Andy Cole is the fastest player to have scored 50 Premier League goals. The former Newcastle United and Manchester United forward netted his first 50 EPL strikes in just 65 matches.
