Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has commented on claims his side could give title rivals Liverpool a guard of honour when they meet on Thursday.

The Citizens lost out on the Premier League title after dropping 23 points behind the 2019/20 champions following their defeat to Chelsea.
As a consequence, Liverpool secured their first English top-flight trophy in 30 years with seven games to play – the fastest in Premier League history.
Guardiola has since insisted his side will give the visitors a guard of honour when Jurgen Klopp's men visit the Etihad Stadium on Thursday.
"We are going to do the guard of honour, of course," the Spaniard said, as quoted by AS.
"We will greet Liverpool, when they come to our house, in an incredible way. We are going to do it because they deserve it."
Guardiola also revealed that he believes he knows what went wrong for his side in this campaign and will try to do better in 2020/21.
"In sport, you have to live in the future," he added.
"Never can you have one eye on what you have done. Never forget that we are an incredible club and organisation, and what you have to do is learn.
"I think we know the reason why we suffered this season and we are going to try to solve it for next season."
