Gunners academy graduate Eddie Nketiah has officially left the north London club after spending the past nine years at the club.

The England international leaves the Premier League giants for crosstown rivals Crystal Palace, in what is the club's second sale of the transfer window.

The London native joined Arsenal's Hale End academy in 2015, and gradually rose through the club's ranks before making his debut for the first team two years later in the Carabao Cup against Norwich City, during which he scored a brace.

He has since made 168 appearances for the Gunners, but will now play elsewhere in the English capital as he has become the Eagles' newest recruit.

Having already spent €15 million (R296 million) on Ismaila Sarr and Chadi Riad, Nketiah is now Palace's most expensive acquisition of the transfer window so far.
