With Liverpool having been confirmed as Premier League champions last week, former Chelsea forward Tony Cascarino believes that Jurgen Klopp can emulate Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson by becoming a serial winner.
After the Blues defeated Manchester City at Stamford Bridge last Thursday, confirming the Reds' first league title triumph in 30 years, Cascarino is confident Klopp's European giants will make a habit of winning trophies should they continue to improve.
"Liverpool have built a dynasty. They're going to win more things, without a doubt," the 57-year-old told talkSPORT.
"I will be so shocked if they didn't go on to be (Premier League) champions for the second or third time.
"I felt the same about Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United. I played with some of their players and I realised it would be a while until anybody got them off their mantle.
"Liverpool had success from the late seventies all the way through to 1990. They won trophy after trophy; I played with Liverpool players who have won six titles!" the former Aston Villa player added.
Klopp's men are set to face Pep Guardiola's City after becoming the first team in English football history to win the league with seven fixtures remaining in the season.
The Citizens are set to give Liverpool a guard of honour at the Etihad Stadium on Thursday evening.
