Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho revealed why he had such a shocked look on his face after Ashley Young scored a stunning free-kick in his side's 4-2 win over Watford on Tuesday night.
The 10 Best Starts To An EPL Season
The England international gave the Red Devils the lead in the 19th minute of the match, and quickly doubled it after teammate Paul Pogba won his side a free-kick 25 yards out from goal, which the England international netted.
After the ball hit the back of the net, Mourinho was caught on camera looking quite bewildered, and he explained why after the game.
"I was surprised that Paul gave him permission (to take the free-kick)," Mourinho said, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News.
"I was not surprised with his (Young's) shot, it's quite good and his percentage of success in training is quite high, so we knew he could score.
"Paul is also outstanding, and his shot usually is more powerful, so in that position, I was expecting Paul to take it."
