Chelsea's new Nike deal began on 1 July, and is worth £900 million (R15.3 billion) over 15 years, which means the Blues will receive £60 million (R1 billion) a season from the US sportswear manufacturer.
"In 2017-18, Chelsea FC will wear Nike Football kits for the first time in the club's illustrious 112-year history as they set about defending the Premier League title and mounting a challenge in Europe," reads an official statement.
"Tasked with creating matchday kits that unite Nike's unrivalled pedigree in apparel innovation with Chelsea's unique character as a club, Nike Football designers have produced clean designs that incorporate Aeroswift Technology – a performance system that enhances breathability, mobility and speed – and represent Chelsea's most advanced kits to date.
"Chelsea's kits for 2017-18 are advanced pieces of performance design with zoned ventilation panels, optimally-textured fabric to reduce clinging and lightweight construction throughout."
The new Nike home kit follows the adidas version of previous season, with the Blues having paid a €50 million (R746 million) penalty to get out of their 10-year deal six years early.
