The Merseyside derby remains one of the Premier League's most exciting derbies, if not the biggest over the years.
Despite the big rivalry there have been quite a few players who have crossed the city to play for both clubs.
The last player to do so forme Portuguese midfielder Abel Xavier who represented Everton between 1999 and 2002 before he made the switch the direct switch to Anfield.
Xavier, meanwhile, only spent one season with the Red half of Merseyside before being loaned out to Turkish outfit Galatasaray.
One player some people might know who played for both side is Former Ajax Cape Town shot-stopper Sander Westerveld.
The Dutchman represented the Reds from 1999 to 2001, before he spent one year at Goodison Park with the Toffees in 2006.
