Ex-FC Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez believes that European champions Liverpool are "just about perfect".
Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool is currently sitting pretty at the summit of the Premier League log, 10 points clear of their nearest chasers Leicester City.
The Reds' aggressive and quick style of play under the German tactician has gained many admirers, and Xavi is no exception.
"Their transitions in attack and defence are just about perfect: how they defend, how they drop back, how they hit hard on the counter, the pace of their players and, above all, the intensity Klopp gives them.
"They're a very difficult team to attack. Physically, they're very strong. They win all the second balls and they also work really hard on their tactics. They're dominant in so many areas of the game."
With Xavi's side Al-Sadd suffering an embarrassing defeat at the hands of African giants Esperance in the FIFA Club World Cup on Tuesday, Liverpool will kick off their campaign against Monterrey in their semi-final later this evening.
