With Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland reportedly closing in on a stunning move to Manchester City, it has been revealed how much money he could earn in England.
It was recently claimed that the Premier League champions are favourites to land the 21-year-old's signature ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
At the end of the season, Haaland will become available for £63 million (R1.2 billion) as per the release clause that is set to come into play, a low fee that means his agent Mino Raiola and his dad Alf-Inge, an ex-City player, are likely to earn big payments from a deal.
Clubs such as Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have been circling for the Norway international, though it is Pep Guardiola who is expected to be his manager next season.
According to the Daily Mail, Haaland is likely to become the highest-paid player in the Premier League, with his weekly salary tipped to be around £500 000 (R9.8 million).
Since joining Dortmund in 2020, the striker has amassed an incredible 80 goals in as many games across all competitions, assisting a further 21 strikes.
