The Blues have not enjoyed their start to the campaign – they currently languish in 15th position with one win to their name.
This is the club's worst start to a season in their Premier League history, but the owners of the club are said to be relatively calm about the situation.
According to The Guardian, the likes of Behdad Eghbali and Todd Boehly, founders of Clearlake Capital, the majority shareholder in the Blues, are convinced enough by the underlying data that Mauricio Pochettino's side is headed in the right direction.
There has been a massive clearout of experienced campaigners in the squad in recent months, and replacing them has seen a large influx of prodigious young talent, with the club's executives believed to have acknowledged that there may be growing pains utilising this much youth.

Pochettino's side has failed to score in the league since August, with some feeling inexperience has been at the heart of a lot of their goals conceded this season.
However, it seems the former is the more pressing issue for the club, and the same report claims that they will be looking to bring in either Brentford's Ivan Toney or Nigeria international Victor Osimhen in the January transfer window.
