The Spaniard has enjoyed a successful career at the highest level, representing clubs such as Arsenal, Barca and current team Chelsea, and has also made 110 appearances for his country so far.
Asked to choose a five-a-side dream team recently, there was hardly any surprise when the Blues midfielder selected Spanish legend Iker Casillas in goal.
Fabregas chose his former Barca teammate Gerard Pique as his defender, before naming Lionel Messi in his side, telling Soccer AM: "What can I say about him? Whatever I say I'm sure it's been repeated by everyone else. He's the best player of all time."
The 30-year-old's fourth selection was his current colleague Eden Hazard, who he believes has "all the qualities" to win a Ballon d'Or.

Thierry Henry was also named in the midfielder's team, with Fabregas explaining: "When I first came to Arsenal in 2003, he was at his peak and I've not seen many strikers play or handle defenders like how he used to do it. He was fantastic on his day and, for Arsenal, he was the hero of the team."
