Six years on from his standout showing at the Parc des Princes for Manchester United, the Englishman produced another quality performance—this time for Aston Villa—against the French giants.
The Manchester native is now a member of Aston Villa and, while he was unable to lead the Villans to Champions League progression as he did during his time as a Mancunian, the 27-year-old still delivered a strong individual performance.
Rashford provided an assist that gave Villa the lead on the night against PSG earlier in the week, and created a few chances that could have levelled matters on aggregate. Ultimately, it was not to be for the pacey attacker and the Birmingham side, as they were eliminated 5-4 overall.
Quizzed on whether Villa would trigger the player’s mooted £40 million (R996 million) option to buy, Unai Emery said it would be contingent on several factors. However, according to The Express, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Chelsea and PSG themselves are now monitoring the player’s situation and are open to exploring the possibility of signing him.

Rashford could still return to Old Trafford, but after his falling out with Rúben Amorim and the good form he has shown since arriving at Villa Park, it appears there are clubs lining up to lure the attacker away.
