It had been previously suggested that Conte had reservations about accepting a potential offer from United, but he is now believed to be interested in the position that could soon become vacant.
As per Sky Sport Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio, last season's Serie A-winning manager has already been contacted by intermediaries from the English giants.

Following United's 5-0 Premier League defeat to rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford this past Sunday, questions about Solskjaer's tactical ability have been raised.
There is a feeling that the Norwegian is simply not equipped to take United to the next level, with many believing the ex-striker has reached his ceiling in terms of his ability as a coach and football manager.
Players in the club's dressing room, according to The Athletic, have also reportedly begun to wonder if Solskjaer is productive for their professional careers.
Reports have suggested that the current boss is likely to be in charge for the team's next three games – against Tottenham Hotspur, Atalanta and Manchester City – although the upcoming international break could be when United's hierarchy call time on his tenure.
