With Brazil international Philippe Coutinho having been handed the iconic No. 7 jersey by FC Barcelona for the 2018/19 season, here are nine players who have worn the famous number for the Catalan giants.

The former Liverpool star arrived at the Blaugrana in January this year and was initially given the No. 14 shirt. After a relatively successful half a season with the Spaniards, the 26-year-old has now been given the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of a few legends.
According to Barca's official website, all the players mentioned have worn the legendary No. 7 shirt, and some were certainly more successful than others.
The last player to wear the famous jersey before Coutinho was Turkey international Arda Turan, who joined the club in 2015. The 31-year-old playmaker's career has taken a bit of a dip since his move to the Camp Nou, and he is currently on a two-year loan spell at Istanbul Basaksehir.
Between 2010 and 2015, the shirt was worn by two Spanish internationals, and they both played on the wing. David Villa wore it from 2010 to 2013, while Chelsea star Pedro Rodriguez had it from 2013 to 2015.
