Players have been known to clash on the ground training due to a difference in opinion, while there have also been disagreements during and after matches.
In 2001, Former Sundowns player Charles Motlohi was on the receiving end of slap from teammate Daniel Mudau for not taking a penalty in the BP Top 8 final against Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium.
Sundowns went on to lose the penalty shoot-out 7-6, before Mudau was seen slapping Motlohi after the encounter.
South African-born goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar also got into a minor bust-up with his former Liverpool teammate Steve McMananan during a highly entertaining Merseyside derby against Everton.
"I remember playing at Goodison Park when we drew 4-4 with Everton, that was the famous McManaman debacle," Grobbelaar told Soccer AM.
"We went back into the dressing room and yes there were a lot of boots thrown at each other. Then we had to go and get in the bath and normally if you've done anything bad the rest of the players don't say anything.
"But this time I had to do something so I took one of the players, stuck his head under the water and sat on it.
"Who it was remains a secret - what goes on in the dressing room stays in the dressing room!"
Some of the other famous bust-ups include Newcastle United teammates Lee Bowyer and Kieron Dyer fighting during a Premier League match and Mario Balotelli's training ground scuffle with Jerome Boateng at Manchester City.
