Supercopa de Espana Starting XI: Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona 16 August 2017

Teams: Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona

Date: 16 August 2017

Venue: Santiago Bernabeu

Time: 11.00pm

It's another El Clasico with a lot at stake for both sides. Los Blancos beat their bitter rivals 3-1 at the Camp Nou on Sunday, and sit in the driving seat to lift their 10th Supercopa de Espana.

Zinedine Zidane's side have scored in 67 successive games, a run dating back to April 2016. The Frenchman could continue his impressive stint with the Spanish giants by adding his seventh trophy in just 20 months in charge.

However, Real will have to do so without their superstar Ronaldo, who came off the bench in the first leg and scored, but was sent off after receiving two bookings.

Barca, meanwhile, will look to Lionel Messi – the famous fixture's best goalscorer ever – to extend his brilliant run at Real's home ground.

Messi has scored 24 goals in El Clasico history overall, with 14 of them coming at the Bernabeu. Los Blancos have lost three of their past four home games against their bitter rivals, conceding 12 goals in the process.

However, it seems that Zidane's current crop of players are too strong for Barca, who are still recovering from losing Neymar in this transfer window, and all Real could be set to lift their second trophy this season.

Here's how they line up:

Real: Navas; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo; Kovacic, Kroos, Modric; Vazquez, Benzema, Asensio.

Barca: Ter Stegen; Roberto, Piqué, Umtiti, Alba; Rakitic, Busquets, Mascherano; Gomes, Messi, Suárez.
