It seems the transfer saga involving the Young Africans forward is nearing its conclusion.
Earlier this year, it was speculated that a number of South African clubs, including Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns, were after the 29-year-old's services, but with the president of Yanga confirming to Soccer Laduma earlier in the window that no South African club had made a formal approach for the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup Golden Boot winner, the door has been left ajar for other African giants to try lure the striker away from Dar es Salaam.
A north African giant is now rumoured to have pounced on other teams' apparent indecisiveness, with Egyptian journalist Abdelhamed Galal reporting that Pyramids FC have reached an agreement with the Tanzanian Premier League champions over the Democratic Republic of Congo international's transfer.
Galal claims that all that is left is for the Egyptian giants to agree minor details pertaining to the player's contract, and then the Mbuji-Mayi native will be club's next marquee signing.
