The player reportedly told club management that he intends to leave at the end of the current campaign, despite previously saying he would remain with the club until June 2026, Pan-African Football said.
The 29-year-old is reported to have expressed a desire to join Wydad AC and it is claimed the player's representatives have already opened up talks with the club.
Aziz Ki joined the Tanzanian side in 2022 and won the Tanzanian Premier League in both seasons spent with the club.
Earlier this season, he was linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, while his impressive performances for Yanga have reportedly caught the eye of Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates in the past.
Pan-African Football claim that the player's agent, Zambro Traore, met with Mokwena and the club's president to discuss a move to the Moroccan side, and the two sides are hopeful a deal can be made that will allow the Burkinabe international to feature at the 2025 Club World Cup.
