The Egyptian giants will be without 21-year-old fullback Karim El Debes and Morrocan international Yahya Attiat Allah for their clash against Sundowns on Saturday 19 April, Sport Elwatan reported.
Al Ahly faced Pyramids FC, Orlando Pirates' CAF Champions League opponents, in a top-of-the-table clash on 12 April with the game finishing 1-1 but the loss of the two fullbacks was a big blow to the Red Devils.
Attiat Allah left the pitch in the 24th minute with an injury and was replaced by El Debes, who was withdrawn before half-time with an ankle injury.
According to Egyptian publication Masrawy, Al Ahly's medical team confirmed Attiat Allah suffered a hamstring strain while El Debes had undergone an x-ray on his ankle and the club would conduct another x-ray once the swelling subsided to determine the extent of the injury.
