Ivorian legend Yaya Toure has revealed which means more to win between the Africa Cup of Nations and the UEFA Champions League.

The towering midfielder experienced club success relatively early on in his career. By the time he left Barcelona as a 27-year-old, the Bouake native had already made history with the Catalan giants during Pep Guardiola's tenure with the LALIGA club.
Toure was part of the legendary Barca side that won a sextuple in 2009, with the Champions League perhaps the biggest of those trophies.
The four-time CAF Men's Player of the Year would, however, only achieve international success much later in his career.
After a 30-year wait, and with many of their "golden generation" arguably past their prime, Toure captained the Elephants to their second AFCON title in 2015.
Having won a plethora of trophies, including Europe's biggest club prize, Toure has now claimed that capturing the Champions League is not comparable with winning African football's continental showpiece.
"Winning the CAN is stronger than winning the Champions League. Winning a trophy for your country is truly wonderful. Every time I won a trophy, I remained indifferent. But this, it's total happiness," the 41-year-old said, as per Afrique Sports.

The penalty shootout final victory over Ghana in 2015 was one of Toure's last appearances for the west African giants – he would feature on only two more occasions for his nation before calling time on his international career.
