According to CAMFOOT, the former Barcelona striker continues to look for ways to progress domestic football in his home country.
As president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT), managers in the Elite One league will need to wear formal clothing on the touchline to combat the inconsistency with which they dress.
It is said that members of coaching staff can wear club tracksuits, with FECAFOOT seeking to improve the image of the sport in Cameroon ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Managers or staff will reportedly face financial sanctions should they not comply with the new set of rules, news that follows CAF's decision to not take action against Eto'o amid match-fixing allegations.
Since his appointment as FECAFOOT's president in December 2021, the three-time UEFA Champions League winner has been involved in a number of controversial disputes.
In December 2022, Eto'o issued an apology after getting into a fight with a fan outside a stadium at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
