Manchester City star Raheem Sterling signed for the Citizens at the start of this season for £49 million – find out what car he has been driving to training this week in instead of his usual Mercedes-Benz here.
Sterling, who is usually spotted in his £125 000 Mercedes supercar, has now traded that in for a customised Smart car – yes, you read right… a Smart car!
The 21-year-old, who has scored eight goals in all competitions so far this season and helped his side reach the knockout stage of the Champions League on Tuesday night, has had trouble with cars in the past.
In August, his Mercedes was crashed by a friend while he was at training, and in February he was spotted arriving for training at Liverpool in a Range Rover with a parking ticket still attached to it.
The Englishman's Smart car is the ForTwo model, which boasts an acceleration of 0-62mph in 10.4 seconds, and a top speed of 96mph.
