The story
Masandawana attacker, Thembinkosi Lorch is putting in the hard yards off the pitch in hopes of maintaining a more regular place in Miguel Cardoso's matchday squads.
The 31-year-old, who was brought in at Sundowns by Rulani Mokwena in January 2024, has struggled for game time this season.
Lorch has featured just seven times in all competitions, with two goal contributions coming in the Carling Knockout Cup and the CAF Champions League preliminary rounds.
The former fan-favourite at the Buccaneers, Lorch, enlisted the services of strength and conditioning coach, Vusi 'Mavreka' Hlabangwana.
Mavreka has helped revive the likes of Gaston Sirino and Siphelele Mkhulise in recent times and will hope to have the same impact on Lorch, having previously worked together in 2022.
