What's the story?
Kylian Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi were on opposite ends in Morocco's semi-final defeat to France, and the pre-match build-up and aftermath, showcased their solid friendship.
Arguably the best Bromance in football, the duo regularly interact and post each other on their various social media platforms, with Mbappe posting a positive message for Hakimi after their match yesterday.

Achraf Hakimi Kylian Mbappe
The first player who was on hand to encourage and help Hakimi up from the ground after Morocco's 2-0 defeat to France was his best friend and club teammate, Mbappe.
The Frenchman also took to social media to say:
"Don't be sad bro, everybody is proud of what you did, you made history."
The duo not only swapped jerseys and put them straight on, but were also spotted sitting down together and having a post-match chat, where they were joined by Moroccan winger Sofiane Boufal.

It's been reported that the duo are inseparable at PSG and also spend some time off the pitch by going on holidays. As per the Mirror, it's believed that Mbappe took time to meet up with Hakimi during one of France's off days in Qatar.
The article also mentioned that the Penguin celebration done by Hakimi, after slotting the winning penalty against Spain in the Round of 16, is an inside joke between the Moroccan star, Mbappe and Spanish veteran Sergio Ramos.

The duo had to put their bromance aside yesterday as Mbappe gave Hakimi a tough time in yesterday's encounter.
The Moroccan did manage to tame in some moments but wasn't able to stop the Frenchman's individual brilliance that set up Randal Kolo Muani's goal, which sealed Les Bleus place in yet another World Cup final.
