When Downs revealed their new kits for the 2020/21 campaign, the shirts were made in honour of the club's 50th anniversary. The 10-time league champions also revealed a slightly updated logo to go with the kit.

That being said, the home jersey draws comparisons to the Brazil national team shirt used at the 1958 World Cup. The simplistic design of the Sundowns top comes with a V-neck small collar, with the iconic Brazil jersey sporting a slightly bigger collar.
Downs' home kit also looks identical to the kit Brazil used at the 2019 Copa America finals, which celebrated their 100th year at the tournament.
