Vinicius Jr went on his very first mission as UNESCO's Goodwill Ambassador for Education for All, visiting a school and a learning centre to inspire Morocco's next generation of stars.

Vinicius Jr in Morocco for UNESCO
Vinicius Jr was appointed UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador early this month, a major achievement for the 23-year-old Brazilian superstar.
On Monday, Vini Jr embarked on his very first mission for his new role at UNESCO, paying a visit to a secondary school in Marrakech, as well as a UNESCO Learning City.
"This visit marks the beginning of a special journey to show the power of education. Together with @institutovinijr [Vinicius' NGO], let's create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Thank you, @vinijr, for creating such a memorable moment for the kids and continuously championing UNESCO's mission," shared UNESCO on an Instagram post.

"Being appointed UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador at just 23 years old is more than an honour, it's an achievement and a duty which I'll carry with me for the rest of my life. Of course, I want to be recognized as a great player, but also as a citizen who tried to make a difference.
"I've been fighting for education since I was 19 years old, and my Institute is gradually developing in Brazil. Thanks to the support of UNESCO, we're now going to have a positive impact on the whole world," wrote Vini Jr on IG when he was appointed by UNESCO earlier this month.
