Delron Buckley has been a busy body since his retirement back in 2015. Along with coaching at all levels, the former German-based star is still as passionate as ever about the beautiful game.
Along with his soccer schools programme, the proud Durbanite is an ambassador for one of his former clubs and is a pundit on SABC Sports.

Post Retirement Life: Delron Buckley
The retired 45-year-old forward is as busy as ever in his post retirement life. Based in his home province of KwaZulu Natal, Buckley is eager to nurture South African football's future stars in a host of projects he's involved in.
The Delron Buckley Soccer Schools is one of them, and it caters to girls and boys between the ages 6 to 16 in a three-day clinic which is normally hosted during the winter.

Along with his own clinic, Buckley helped out his former side Arminia Bielefeld in their South African Youth Development Programme back in May, where he shared his expertise with over 100 local coaches and helped train over 200 youngsters in Johannesburg.

After a few more visits in various ???? media outlets Tom Schuetz and I from DSC Arminia Bielefeld reached more than 20 Million people during our #southafrica trip.

In April, Buckley was named as the Arminia Bielefeld South Africa ambassador, something he's regarded as a major honour and will be involved in the club's upcoming projects in Mzansi.

After his coaching stint at Maritzburg United as Ernst Middendorp's assistant, Buckley's passion for coaching also saw him work with the University of KwaZulu Natal's football side, showing his versatility and passion for coaching and developing SA's future football stars.
Apart from coaching, Buckley also works as a SABC Sport football pundit and was part of their 2022 FIFA World Cup team of analyst and shares his expertise for the televised Bundesliga and English Premier League matches.
