When we talk about players with incredible football CVs, we're not looking at how many clubs they've played for, but rather how many top clubs they've worn the colours of. Here are five footballers who starred for three or more of Europe's biggest teams.
Angel Di Maria
The Argentine made his name at Benfica from 2007 to 2010, and after an impressive World Cup, Real Madrid put £23 million down to secure his services. Di Maria spent four years at Los Blancos before his record move to Manchester United in 2014, and after just one season in England, the winger left for France's biggest club, Paris Saint-Germain.
Daniel Sturridge
After three years in Manchester City's youth set-up, Sturridge got his first senior team call-up for the Citizens in 2006. Three seasons later, the English forward moved to Chelsea for a mere £5 million. The striker played 96 times for the Blues before leaving for Liverpool in 2013, where he has hit the back of the net 43 times in 69 games.
Cesc Fabregas
A product of Barcelona's famous La Masia academy, Fabregas signed for Arsenal in 2003. The midfielder quickly became one of Europe's highest rated players, and it was his former Catalan club who came knocking on his door once again. Fabregas joined the Blaugrana in 2011, but finds himself back in the Premier League, this time with Jose Mourinho's Chelsea.
Carlos Tevez
At 31 years old, and by his wish, Tevez currently plays for Boca Juniors in Argentina, where he'll probably see out the remainder of his career. The striker, on loan from West Ham United, was once one of Manchester United's most prized possessions, but that changed when he signed for bitter rivals Manchester City in 2009. Tevez left the Citizens for Juventus in 2013, where he scored 50 goals in 96 games.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
There is arguably no footballer who boasts a better CV than Ibrahimovic. Having scored 325 club career goals for the likes of Ajax Amsterdam, Barcelona, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus and PSG, the Swede has definitely proved himself across Europe's biggest borders. He may not quite be at Cristiano Ronaldo's and Lionel Messi's level, but there'll never be another like him.
Who do you think has the best CV out of these five stars?
