In terms of his start-up ride, Ozil opted for a car many footballers in South Africa own. The assist-maker's first vehicle was reportedly a Volkswagen Golf 6 GTI, commonly known as a "Vrrrphaa" in Mzansi.
However, the former Real Madrid star now has a penchant for lavish rides, and owns an impressive Mercedes-Benz collection as well. High up on his luxury car list is his Mercedes G-Wagon, a popular SUV priced at more than R2.5 million.
