Could Shabalala Be Joining Mvala’s Markham Brand Deal?

Kaizer Chiefs starlet Mduduzi Shabalala was spotted shopping at a local retailer with a Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana star.

The story

Although battle lines have been drawn between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of their blockbuster league encounter on Saturday, players from both sides have crossed over more than once leading up to the game.

First it was Gaston Sirino hosting his Amakhosi teammates and Masandawana ex-teammates for his birthday and now, "Mdu or Die" has been spotted with Mothobi Mvala at Markham.

"Lord Mvala" as he's affectionately known by supporters and teammates, is a brand ambassador for Markham and has been working with them since late 2024.

The menswear focused retailer that's known for its on-trend smart and casual wear, including footwear, accessories and fragrances. 

Although it's not clear whether the 21-year-old is set to partner with Markham, but a brand deal with a well-known retailer would help elevate the youngster's brand off the pitch.
