According to the Daily Mirror, the France international was heading to Stamford Bridge for the Blues' Carabao Cup clash against Arsenal on Wednesday evening – which ended in a goalless draw – after failing to catch a ride on the team bus.
Kante's Mini is said to be worth £20 000 (about R335 000), and he has had the car since his days with Leicester City.
