The England national team coach, Gareth Southgate, is becoming a popular figure among football fans, and at the World Cup, a Southgate look-a-like was spotted in the stands in one of their recent matches. Did you see him?
After years of disappointment, the England national team had their fans in dreamland after the Three Lions managed to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup.
Southgate, thus, won the hearts of many, particularly that of a man by the name of Neil Rowe, who was spotted dressing up like the England head coach. Naturally, he became a popular figure on social media after he was spotted among the English supporters at the games.
In an interview with the BBC, Rowe mentioned that certain people think he is the real Southgate and he often takes selfies with fans.
As quoted by the BBC, Rowe said: "Some fans here in Russia believe I am the real one. Some Colombians were having a go at me yesterday, saying well done to your team for beating us," he explained, before adding that he was also given free beer in a bar.
"It's been about 500 selfies a day here easily - I've got jaw-ache."
That said, check out Southgate's doppelganger:
