The story
Marshall Munetsi is enjoying a solid start to life in the United Kingdom after scoring his first goal in the English Premier League as a Wolverhampton Wanderers player
The 28-year-old former Orlando Pirates midfielder, has made four league appearances for Wolves and featured in an FA Cup match since making the move in January from Stade Reims in France.
Despite being primarily known as a central midfielder, Munetsi has been deployed as a forward in all of these matches. His adaptability has paid off, as he has contributed with one goal and one assist for the team under coach Vitor Pereira.
Munetsi scored the equaliser in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Everton at Molineux Stadium, marking a significant milestone as he became the first Zimbabwean to score in the EPL since Benjamin "Benjani" Mwaruwari, who last scored for Blackburn Rovers in January 2011.
