The Blaugrana attacker played three charity matches in Brazil over the festive period, during which he got to play against his childhood hero Robinho.
Despite being just eight years younger than his countryman, Neymar has always been a huge admirer of the former Brazil international, who now plays for Atletico Mineiro.
Neymar posted a touching tribute to the playmaker on Instagram, saying (translated from Portuguese): "Dreams seem distant or even impossible to be realised... but there's a catch, only it depends on you! Search, be dedicated and strive for maximum, because it is very worthwhile. I look around dreaming in the bottom photo and performing in the picture above. Thank God for giving me health to follow in search of my dreams! I love my idol."
