Kaizer Chiefs defender Daniel Cardoso is among the most heavily tattooed stars in the PSL, and he recently took the time to explain what some of the artwork means to him. Check it out!
Tattoos and footballers seemingly go hand in hand, with many of them, locally and abroad, making it part of their respective looks. The Amakhosi defender has had some impressive artwork done on his body over the years, and in a recent video segment on Chiefs' official YouTube account called My Ink Story, the ex-Free State Stars man explained the thinking behind some of his tattoos.
Cardoso revealed how his father didn't want him to get any tattoos until he moved out of his parents' house as a young adult, and since then, has had two full sleeves done, a chest tattoo, as well as some inkwork on his legs.
The versatile defender revealed that he reserved his right sleeve for tattoos with religious meanings, with his left arm depicting parts of his life, including his dream of pursuing a career in football.
