The story

In what's been a glum 2024 for the mighty Glamour Boys, the young attacking midfielder has provided a bright spark since making his debut under Cavin Johnson in late February.

Having played seven matches in all competitions last season and another 10 appearances so far this campaign, the 19-year-old's importance to the Chiefs set-up grows with each game.

The skilful teenager is embracing the contagious December spirit after posting snaps his new look on Instagram, a hairdo that will surely make him standout for more than just his mercurial skills on the pitch.

'Obrigado' as he's affectionately known, dyed his hair green! A surprising look at he'll likely debut in Amakhosi's upcoming league fixture in Durban against Chippa United next Sunday, 29 December.

In comments, Vilakazi was hyped by fellow young ballers, Mamelodi Sundowns' Siyabonga Mabena, Orlando Pirates' Mohau Nkota and teammate Wandile Duba.
